Elizabeth Lauten's Bio:

Elizabeth Lauten serves as Communications Director to Congressman Stephen Fincher (R-TN), as well as President and Founder of Audeamus Communications. Prior to opening Audeamus Communications, Elizabeth Lauten served as Purple Strategies’ Social and Earned Media Manager. There, she was responsible for planning and executing best-in-class digital monitoring and engagement strategies. Before joining Purple, Lauten served as Press Secretary for Congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL). There she led an award-winning press shop as the Congressman’s spokeswoman, managing all communications and social media.

Preceding the Hill, she served as the New Media Political Manager at the Republican National Committee where she was responsible for day-to-day management and online political strategy development for the Committee, completing national interactive strategies using email, Facebook, Twitter and other channels. Lauten has also served as the Legislative Analyst for the Republican lobbying firm of Fierce, Isakowitz and Blalock, and she has worked on dozens of Congressional, Senate and local campaigns across the country.

Elizabeth graduated from East Carolina University in May 2007 with a B.A. in Classical Civilizations.
